Making its New Jersey debut-- Transformations!  Today, my husband & I installed this piece and all of its 75 glass butterflies in the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy.  It will hang through June as part of their art show, "Inspirations." 

Today's installation was quite a challenge since the hospital was in full-swing while we were moving ladders around and climbing up and down them in the middle of the busy concourse.  Initially there was a lot of grumbling as patients, doctors, and nurses maneuvered themselves, wheel chairs and crutches around the ladders.  About an hour in, as the butterflies started to fill in, the grumbles turned to comments of understanding and appreciation.
