In my town of Metuchen, NJ, Fridays in June mean the Junebug Artfest!  I have been involved as a participant and volunteer chair in this annual event for the past 5 years. It is always so much fun to see people out, strolling our Main Street, enjoying all the different art.

For one of the first Junebugs, on a whim, I created glass coasters with the Metuchen zip code-- you know we have our own, just like Beverly Hills!  They have been my hottest sellers ever since and I made a bunch for tonight-- in a few different colors but Metuchen blue is my favorite!  People love to give them as gifts to graduating seniors, teachers, friends who move away and new people who move to town.  They are a fun way to celebrate our Metuchen pride!

If you have never been to Junebug, come down and check it out.  It runs from 6- 10 pm each Friday.  You can see all the artists on Main Street, experience the amazing sculpture in front of Borough Hall, hear some music, have dinner in one of our restaurants and catch up with your neighbors.  I'll be at my table in front of Metuchen Travel (428 Main St.) and I also have glass art in the window of Top Drawer North (450 Main St.).  Please come by and say hi!
