Playing in my head this morning is the line from a Beatles song, "I get by with a little help from my friends."  Over a year and a half ago, a group of women in my town who make their living in the arts decided to form a group to support each other as we develop our businesses.  While we are all committed artists, we tend to struggle a bit with the marketing, sales, promotion and management that is necessary to keep our businesses running at the highest level.  We meet monthly, taking turns sharing the challenges we are experiencing while the group offers feedback on solutions that have worked for others.  A few months back, I spoke about my website and how I wasn't really happy with it.  The group gave me a lot of helpful feedback including a nudge to make changes that I felt would improve my web presence.  Today is my first blog post from my new website!  It was truly a group effort starting with the encouragement I got from my women artists group.  It was a major undertaking to turn that idea into reality and I leaned heavily on the tech savvy of my 15 year old son who didn't even complain too much!  The other friend who helped me immensely is David Glasofer, a professional photographer who photographed my work and generated the high quality images that you see.   Thanks to all of you, I'm not just getting by, I'm getting better!
