About a month ago, I asked my spin classes at the Y if they wanted to have any type of special class during the holiday break. Since there are no regular classes for two weeks, the instructors are invited to come up with their own ideas. My mind was filled with prepping for Eat, Drink & Buy Art and trying to figure out how I would finish up some holiday commissions took the last of my brain space. I was thankful and touched when one of the "regulars" suggested doing a food drive for a local food pantry. My friend and fellow instructor, Donna, agreed to work with me to run a 3 hour spin marathon where people could come in and out during the time, donating food and cycling for as long as they want. The class is scheduled for Monday, December 22 from 8-11 am and we are really excited! I'm so grateful that in my business and personal life, so many people I know choose to be giving of their time and resources. That's what the holidays are really all about!
