It's EDBA eve!!!  About a month ago, I shared that the Metuchen Borough Improvement League (BIL) was planning a special holiday event called Eat, Drink & Buy Art  (shortened affectionately to "EDBA").  In its 4th year,  this event has been changing and growing each year.  We are always trying to figure out how to make it better and this year, with the help of a lot of people in Metuchen, it's really going to be a night to remember!  The vacant store front, owned and generously loaned to us for the night by local landlords, the DePasquales, is a blank canvas that we have had a blast turning into a Main St. art gallery.  The 12 artists have been preparing the best of their work for sale for the night.   As part of the Hometown Holidays Weekend, the BIL also sponsors the Holiday Tree Lighting (tonight) and hosts the Holiday House Tour (Sunday).   It's a huge volunteer effort with many BIL members helping to share the heavy load.  By the end of the weekend, your cup of holiday cheer will be spilling over!   I hope you can join us at EDBA to meet the artists, find some holiday treasures and celebrate all the good things we have in Metuchen!
