It would be just a slight exaggeration to say the only thing my son has talked about for the past 4 month is the start of the high school baseball season: that day is today!  For those of you with family members who love sports, you know the excitement that surrounds the season.  In our house, as the swim season is winding down for our daughter, baseball season is starting up for our son, despite the 8 inches of snow that fell throughout the day yesterday.  So, this afternoon, instead of getting outside in the crisp March air, they will be practicing in the high school gym. That's fine with him-- he is thrilled to be putting on his glove and throwing the ball.  This morning, despite the cold and snow, he is dressed in shorts and has a huge smile on his face.  I hope whatever this spring brings your way, you are filled with all the joy of the potential it has to offer, even if it's currently buried under snow.
