The effects of Hurricane Sandy, which made landfall at the Jersey Shore in 2012, are still being felt.  I was contacted about a commission in the spring of this year by a woman who is rebuilding in Forked River.  This is a photo "in process" of one of two windows I am creating for her as she works hard to reclaim her home.  We worked together on the design and color choices for these windows and I am delivering one of them today for her builder to install.  I took this photo earlier in the week to show her the progress and to discuss what color glass would go in the open spaces since what we originally selected was out of stock.  As I took the picture, I thought it would be interesting to put together a short video clip of the construction of the window and also of the re-construction of her home.  Look for that video coming soon-- I hope in addition to showing my process, it will give a glimpse into the strength that it takes to re-claim a home and a life.
